Crime Stoppers Month kicks off with a flag raising in Cayuga

CAYUGA—Each year, January is recognized as Crime Stoppers month by countries across the globe. The theme for 2020 is “Creating Partnerships Against Crime,” advocating for a strong partnership between Haldimand and Norfolk’s law enforcement, the community, the media, and Crime Stoppers themselves. On January 8, 2020, Crime Stoppers held their annual flag raising. Mayor Ken Hewitt was in attendance, as were representatives from the local OPP detachment.
