CALEDONIA—Haldimand OPP is investigating a theft of a commercial motor vehicle from an Argyle Street North, Caledonia address.
On Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 8 a.m., OPP responded to Argyle Street North for a report of a stolen commercial motor vehicle. OPP investigation has determined on Friday, March 6, 2020 at approximately 11:36 p.m., two suspects attended the property in a white-coloured pickup truck where one of the suspects removed the licence plates from a vehicle parked nearby, and placed them on a commercial motor vehicle before removing the vehicle and fleeing the area.
The vehicle is described as a white 2015 International (model 40S) dump truck, valued at $78,000. The suspects are described as males, wearing dark coloured hoodie style sweatshirts and dark coloured pants.
OPP continue to investigate and are reviewing evidence.
