CALEDONIA—On May 7, 2020, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team (PJFCET), the OPP Haldimand County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Haldimand County OPP, and the OPP West Region Provincial Liaison Team executed Cannabis Act search warrants in relation to an illicit online cannabis distributor in the town of Caledonia.
Warrants were executed at a residence in the 100 block of Thompson Road and another on a motor vehicle. A quantity of cannabis and related cannabis products, along with Canadian and US currency, were seized. OPP has charged two 35-year-olds of Caledonia with:
