HALDIMAND—Hundreds of students found themselves without a ride to school in the opening weeks of the 2020/21 school year due to a lack of bus drivers in the region.
Student Transportation Services of Brant-Haldimand-Norfolk (STSBHN) announced via a press release last week that rotating route cancellations would affect a large amount of bus routes from September 14 to October 9 over both the Grand Erie District School Board (GEDSB) and the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board (BHNCDSB). The cancellations are being handled in rolling, two-day blocks, impacting 15 schools across Haldimand County.
