New comprehensive zoning bylaw proposed
County staff have recommended the adoption of a new zoning bylaw that consolidates the bylaws of Dunnville, Haldimand, and Nanticoke into a single document designed to create consistency across the municipality.
The new bylaw addresses zoning and land use perspectives in the county. The bylaw defines issues such as the location of buildings and structures, the type of buildings allowed and their use, and dimensions including lot size, height, and amount of parking.
