Last week I tested positive for COVID-19’s UK variant (B.1.1.7). I started showing symptoms on Tuesday, May 11 and when they didn’t go away by Wednesday, I decided to get tested. My fiancé Kyle started showing symptoms last Saturday, May 8; the Health Unit believes that’s where I got it since we live together.
We were tested on Wednesday, May 12 and were surprised to see that we were positive because of the mildness of our symptoms.
Kyle had muscle aches, fatigue, and a mild headache for less than a day, which was after a long day at work so he thought nothing of it.
