HALDIMAND—On Friday, November 12, 2021 at approximately 1:30 p.m., Haldimand OPP, Haldimand Fire Services, and Haldimand Emergency Services responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 54.
An All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) was struck by a vehicle travelling southbound on Highway 54.
The ATV driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local Hospital for further assessment.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old individual from Caledonia was charged with Drive While Under Suspension.
A second individual, a 52-year-old from Canfield, was also charged with:
- Drive While Under Suspension (two counts)
- Fail To Yield from Private Driveway
- Drive Off-Road Vehicle – No Insurance
The accused individuals are to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
