To The Editors,
I can appreciate what our local Council is trying to achieve by sending this message to Queen’s Park.
However, I believe that eliminating the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) is not necessarily the right approach. Planning applications and legislations can be appealed by the general public, private enterprises, and local governments alike and basically allows for a neutral second opinion on a decision that has been made at the local level.
