George “Mr. Centre Ice” Culver now 105-years-old

DUNNVILLE—Haldimand’s own “Mr. Centre Ice”, George Culver, turned 105 years old on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at his residence in Maple Grove Place.

When asked how it feels to be 105, Culver chuckled and said, “Well, I don’t know, I’m just living that’s all.”

He still believes in light therapy, which uses coloured lights on specific parts of the body. He said, “I’ve been doing it for years and I don’t know if it’s helped me, but it hasn’t hurt me.”
