YORK — Haldimand OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County Emergency Services (EMS) responded to a call for service at a field located on Stoney Creek Road east of York on May 5, 2022 at 3:04 p.m.
According to witnesses, a 16-year-old individual who was working as a co-op student had injured himself while cutting a tree limb. The youth was transported by AirOrnge to an out-of-town hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries.
The Ministry of Labour attended the scene and have taken carriage of the investigation.
