HAGERSVILLE—Grade 12 student Mitchell Regan has spent the semester working in the HSS greenhouse for a co-op placement. His responsibilities have ranged from sorting pots, organizing and watering plants to helping prepare for Spring Fling. He has also had the opportunity to greet many young visitors as local kindergarten classes have toured the greenhouse this spring.

HAGERSVILLE—While Principal Jeff Benner is in his third year at HSS, this year was his first Spring Fling. The annual fundraiser, which has not taken place since 2019, was well attended with visitors enjoying the greenhouse sale, bake sale and barbecue, and classic car show. Benner was pleased with the community support for the event, as he stated, “The bake sale sold out in an hour!” The car show was a success with more than 120 vehicles registered.
