DUNNVILLE — Haldimand OPP Community Street Crime Unit has charged a 25-year-old individual with drug offences following an investigation on Queen Street in Dunnville.
A check on the individual revealed that they were wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant in Haldimand County. The individual was arrested at the scene.
A search following the arrest revealed a quantity of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, packaging materials, a digital scale, currency, a cell phone, and two knives.
OPP has charged a 25-year-old individual of Dunnville with:
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (Fentanyl)
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
