County to explore licensing fee, more restrictions for Airbnb owners

HALDIMAND — Haldimand farmer James Kaspersetz appeared before Council recently and made the case for a stronger County response to what he called a ‘developing problem’ along Lakeshore Road and other areas as he says unsupervised Airbnb rentals are utilized for large-scale partying that disrupts and disrespects the community at-large.
