Hagersville resident deepens rural roots with ag leadership program

HAGERSVILLE — Dave Stanfield grew up in Burlington, but he has always had an interest in rural communities, perhaps because his father’s family worked in agriculture prior to selling their farm. Now that he lives in Hagersville with his three children and is enrolled in the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program (AALP), he feels even more connected to the Stanfield family rural roots.
