Heat places 3rd at nationals

NAPANEE—The Haldimand Heat U20 Men have captured the bronze medal at the U20 Men’s Canadian Fast Pitch Championship.

The name on the jersey said it all this week as the Heat played a total of 10 games over six days of hot, humid conditions. The eight team tournament included the Nova Scotia Unimaki Blue Whites, Team Quebec, Ontario 1 Tavistock Athletics, Ontario 2 Rostock Braves, Ontario 3 Haldimand Heat, Host AFW Napanee Express, Saskatchewan 1 Rosebud Junior Royals, and Saskatchewan 2 Saskatoon Selects.
