JARVIS—On October 17, 2022, at 12:20 a.m., Haldimand OPP responded to a disturbance at a residence in Jarvis. An individual had left the residence and was possibly impaired.
At 2:02 a.m. police officers located the motor vehicle and while speaking with the driver, signs of alcohol consumption were detected.
As a result of the investigation, the accused, a 41-year-old from Jarvis, was charged with: Driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The accused is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.
