CALEDONIA—Haldimand OPP investigated the theft of a motor vehicle. Sometime between October 8, 2022 and October 10 a 2019 red Ford 150 was stolen from an address on Sutherland Street in Caledonia.
The police were able to locate the vehicle in a field by utilizing an application on the owner’s phone. As a result of the investigation, a 21-year-old of Milton was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Over $5,000; Operation while Prohibited under the Criminal Code (x5); Operation while Impaired; Operation while Impaired – Over 80; Failure to Comply with Undertaking; Dangerous Operation; Failure to Comply with Probation Order; and Drive while under Suspension.
The accused was arrested and held for a Bail Hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga this week to answer to the charges.
