HALDIMAND—Students in Hagersville and Caledonia took part in separate basketball free throw competitions organized by the Knights of Columbus (KoC) at St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School in Hagersville on January 18, 2023 and Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School on January 19.

The competition was open to boys and girls aged 9 to 13. In Hagersville, 30 students participated, while in Caledonia 130 took part. 

The champions from each age/gender group will proceed to the District Competition at Notre Dame Catholic Elementary School, Caledonia on Saturday, February 4.

KoC sent thanks to Mrs. Wilkinson, St. Mary’s Principal, Mrs. Beauvais, St. Mary’s Secretary, and Mr. Bart, St. Mary’s Custodian, along with all the staff at St. Mary’s, as well as Mrs. Leonard, Notre Dame’s Principal, and her staff, for their assistance with the events.
