DUNNVILLE—Several women gathered at Sunny Side Up restaurant on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 to celebrate International Women’s Day. Jen Robertson and Dawn Ballantyne got the ball rolling on the event, inviting the women they happened to meet over the previous week to meet for breakfast. Robertson said, “We didn’t all know each other but had International Women’s Day in common. We shared stories, read poems that inspire us, and made new friends.” They plan to do a similar gathering in future years.
