DUNNVILLE—A fire broke out at a home on the corner of Broad and Niagara streets in Dunnville around 10 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023. Initial reports were of smoke showing, and flames were seen through the roof shortly after arrival of firefighters. There were no injuries. The cause is unknown but is not considered suspicious. The estimated damage was $250,000. Rodger Hill, Deputy Fire Chief, said, “Crews did a great job containing fire to the upper attic area, preventing further fire spread to other areas of the house.”
