HALDIMAND—On Sunday, April 9, 2023 at approximately 9:47 a.m., an officer with Haldimand OPP stopped and investigated a transport truck at a Haldimand Road 55 address in Haldimand County.
As a result of investigation, the driver of the transport truck was taken into custody without incident. Charged with the following offences is a 62-year-old of Hamilton:
- Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus),
- Drive commercial motor vehicle with a major defect in it or in drawn vehicle,
- Drive motor vehicle – no currently validated permit, and
- Dirty plate.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Cayuga at later date.
