HAGERSVILLE—The Hagersville Secondary School (HSS) Spring Fling on May 13, 2023 hosted a variety of activites for all ages.

HAGERSVILLE— A new feature was in the Cosmetology Class, where a range of hair and nail services were offered at a special price of $5. Donna Smye (left) of Hagersville enjoyed a manicure by Grade 12 student Valerie Bunner. Smye regularly attends Spring Fling with her husband and says, “I saw that they were doing this so I came in.”
HAGERSVILLE—Heaslip Ford was back at Spring Fling with the Drive 4UR Community promotion with the dealership donating $10 for each test drive to local charity. Forty-one people registered, some test driving multiple vehicles. According to Rob Phillips of Heaslip Ford, “Our most popular vehicles … were the Bronco Sport, Ranger, Mustang GT Convertible, Mustang Mach-E electric vehicle and, of course, the #1 selling F150.” This year’s test drives benefitted the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice. Phillips says, “Our goal was to have at least 100 test drives so Heaslip Ford Sales will be making a donation in the amount of $1,000.” Jim and Barb Phibbs of Cayuga are shown after taking spin in the Mustang GT Convertible. HAGERSVILLE—From classic cars to quilts and crafts, barbecue to begonias, manicures to a Mach-E, there was definitely something for everyone at the Hagersville Secondary School (HSS) Spring Fling on May 13, 2023. The annual fundraiser was back to full scale and Principal Jeff Benner says, “We are happy to have a full event again. This raises funds for the hospitality class, the Europe trip, drama club, the greenhouse, and other school programs. Thanks to all of our sponsors for their generous support!
