After a recent diagnosis of cancer, Theresa Belle Moodie passed away on Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, peacefully while surrounded by her loving family. Theresa was the devoted wife to her late husband Gary Harold Moodie, amazing and supportive mother to Andrea Moodie (Paul Chartrand) and Alicea Moodie. Predeceased by her first grandchild Lawrence Harold Moodie-Chartrand. Loved greatly by grandsons Garrison Yvon and Felix Ross Moodie-Chartrand. Daughter of the late Bill and Elsie Sheldrake. Loving sister and best friend to Brenda Sheldrake. Sister to Bart Sheldrake, Brett Sheldrake (Pam). Daughter in law to Anne and the late Clare Moodie. Sister-in-law to Stephen Moodie (Mandy). Theresa was a loving and reliable aunt to many nieces and nephews. Theresa always took care of the people she loved by making sure they were well fed. She welcomed many to her home and down at the river and built relationships with people that became family. Theresa was loved by many and was happiest when surrounded by friends and family. Theresa’s family would like to thank all the Dunnville War Memorial Hospital staff for their support. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Highway Chapel would be greatly appreciated.
