DUNNVILLE—Julia’s Old Fashioned Christmas Charity is seeking supporters to help to spread joy and warmth to those in need during the holiday season.
Their mission is to provide a magical Christmas experience to deserving families in the community.
“This year has been challenging for many, and with Christmas approaching, we recognize that extra support is crucial,” said Julia’s Charity in a press release. “This year, we aim to support approximately 50 families and 150 single individuals with essential items, festive treats, and a heartwarming holiday experience. Not included above are countless seniors and senior homes that we donate to. To achieve this goal, we rely on the generosity of local businesses and community donors.”
All community members, businesses, and organizations are invited to join Julia’s efforts by considering a sponsorship or donation. A contribution can make a tangible difference in the lives of local families.
Here are some ways your support can help:
Sponsor a Family: including gifts, groceries, and festive activities.
Monetary Donation: contribute funds to support the overall mission.
In-Kind Donation: goods or services, such as food, toys, or volunteer time.
With inflation and job instability affecting many, donations of any size are more essential than ever: “By contributing financially, you will help us reach as many community members as possible,” said the release.
All monetary donations are eligible for a charity donation receipt and can be made by cash, cheques payable to Julia’s Old Fashioned Christmas Charity, or e-transfer to juliascareacloset@gmail.com.

Acknowledge the business on social media and event promotional materials.
Display the company’s logo on the Julia’s store window on Queen Street and on the charity’s website.
Provide a special thank you message during the Christmas event.
