MP Leslyn Lewis claims federal Chinese shipbuilding contract hurts local steelmaking industry

NANTICOKE—Haldimand-Norfolk MP Leslyn Lewis took aim at the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) for approving a $1 billion loan to company BC Ferries to build four new ferries at a Chinese state-owned shipyard instead of here in Canada using Canadian steel.
