JARVIS—The Haldimand Cattlemen’s Association has presented its 2025 scholarship to Stephen Phibbs of Hagersville. The award assists an individual pursuing post-secondary education, with preference given to those involved in the Haldimand beef and agriculture industry. Phibbs grew up on a beef farm with Limousin cattle and is a member of the Haldimand 4-H Beef Club. He has completed Level 1 of an Agricultural Technician apprenticeship and is continuing the program this January. He says, “I am honoured to be selected as this year’s recipient.” He is shown (centre) receiving the scholarship from selection committee members George Miller (left) and Elizabeth MacDonald (right).
