CREDIT—The Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) hosted its Children’s Powwow on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the MCFN Powwow Grounds.

Several local daycares attended the event, where children enjoyed learning about powwow dances, hearing stories about their origins and meanings, and picking up a few words from the Anishinaabe language.

Along with watching several dances, the children were also invited to participate in some of them.
