CAYUGA—If you’re looking for some fun and social interaction, you need to head to the Cayuga arena every Friday from 6:30-10:30 p.m.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned curler or just starting out, everyone is welcome at the Haldimand Curling Club (HCC).

Brendan Murphy, instructor and HCC Board of Directors member, led the group’s Learn to Curl event on Friday, October 3, 2025.
Following registration and some stretches, seasoned members showed new friends onto the ice for the first curl of the season.
An impressive 25 new members signed up, alongside 67 returning members.
It’s not too late to join, with membership costing $160 for half a season or $300 for the full October-April run; the only equipment needed is a good pair of running shoes.
