NELLES CORNERS—Haldimand OPP is investigating a serious two-vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Highway 3 and Regional Road 20 in Nelles Corners on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
According to Patti Cote, Community Engagement Officer, Media Relations, Haldimand County OPP, the crash involved a passenger van and commercial motor vehicle. The driver of the van was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries, while the passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene. The roadway was expected to remain closed for several hours as emergency crews and investigators worked on scene.
