CALEDONIA—On January 5, 2026 at approximately 8:45 p.m., members of the Haldimand OPP received a report of a traffic complaint on Malcolm Crescent in Caledonia. The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver was subsequently taken into custody.
A 25-year-old of Caledonia has been charged with: operation while impaired; and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus). The charges have not been proven in court. The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on February 3.
