JARVIS—The Jarvis Lions knocked another one out of the park with their 71st annual show, ‘Above and Beyond.’

There are some very talented Lions in this club with singing, joke telling, and comedy sketches entertaining the crowd. Around 900 enthusiastic patrons attended the event over three days from March 5 to 7, 2026.

JARVIS—A performer dressed as Buzz Lightyear was suspended above the stage while the chorus sang “Come Sail Away” during the Jarvis Lions’ 71st annual variety show, Above and Beyond, held March 5-7, 2026 in Jarvis. The three-night event drew about 900 attendees and raised thousands of dollars for community causes, including the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice. A live band, Bruce and the Blazers, provided accompaniment for all the musical numbers.

Guests were offered popcorn along with water and pop at minimal cost. During the intermission, several Lions went through the audience offering homemade fudge for a donation.

This year, all fudge proceeds are going toward the new Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice, which is being built just outside Jarvis. The fudge donations over the three nights totalled $6,595, with the Lions matching up to $6,000, which made for a total donation of $12,595 to the hospice project.

Ticket sales brought in another $18,000, which will be distributed throughout the community.

All three nights were a huge success, and people can’t wait to see what the 72nd annual show brings.
