Traffic stop leads to multiple charges

HAGERSVILLE—Haldimand OPP has charged a 22-year-old male with multiple offences following a traffic stop at a Highway 6, Hagersville address.

On Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10:57 p.m., OPP were patrolling Highway 6 in Hagersville when a vehicle travelling northbound at more than 65 km/hour above the posted 80 km/hour speed limit caught the attention of an officer. OPP stopped the vehicle and investigated.
