DUNNVILLE—On Sunday, May 5, 2019 approximately 170 people, including members of the Veteran Paratrooper Motorcycle Club were on hand at the Woodlawn Cemetery Legion Cenotaph to honour the life of Cpl. Scott Smith who served in the 3 Commando, Canadian Airborne Regiment, Rwanda.
Cpl. Smith took his life on Christmas Day in 1994 at the age of 24. This was a time of remembrance in dedicating a beautiful headstone, which is now in place thanks to support of the initiative by Ralph MacIsaac and the support of many local businesses and organizations, including Branch 142 Royal Canadian Legion Dunnville.
