It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Anne Fleming at Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 62. Carol was a loving wife, mother, nan, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. A proud and devoted wife of 22 years to her husband Gord, Carol was a loving mother to Sarah-Jane, and Mark and Kristi. She was the best Nan to her cherished grandson, Kaden, and brought joy and warmth to his life. She was the daughter of Angela and the late Allison, and sister to Karen and Dan, Carla and Jason, the late Clark, Donna and Andre, and Donna and Gilles. Carol was a beloved daughter-in-law to Murray and Anna, and a dear sister-in-law to Gary and Marla, Wayne and Charlene, and Bruce and Patti. She was also a proud aunt to many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. Carol had a special place in her heart for her cats and loved her job. She was always kind and generous with her time, offering love and support to those who were lucky enough to know her. In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family gathering will be held at a later date. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Carol’s nieces, Courtney and Kristin, for their loving care and support during this difficult time. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the nurses and staff at Stedman Community Hospice for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stedman Community Hospice, Perfect Companions in Delhi, or the Canadian Cancer Society in Carol’s memory.
