With heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Gail at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday November 18, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved wife for 63 years to Bill. Loving mother of Bill (and Melanie), Randy (and Jill). Dearly loved Nan of Melana (and Dave), Billy, Brandon, and cherished great-grandson, Oliver. Gail will also be sadly missed by sisters Betty Lou Baird, Bonnie Wardell, sisters-in-law Kate Vokes and Laura Hobbs, nieces, nephews, and friends. Predeceased by daughters-in-law Brenda and Sherry Hobbs, brothers David and Larry Vokes, brothers-in-law Pete Baird, Jack Wardell and Paul Hobbs. Gail’s family would like to thank David Lefler, Renee Vervaet, and all the staff at Heritage Lodge, Simcoe for their care and compassion. Following Gail’s wishes a private service was held.
