Peacefully, on October 3, 2025, Chris passed away at Haldimand Memorial Hospital in Dunnville, ON after a short fight with pneumonia and years of COPD, at the age of 74. Christine was the only child of the late Russell and Verna Copeland (née Konkle). She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband of 57 years, Gene Moss. She was a wonderful stay-at-home mother of three children, sadly predeceased by her oldest child, Carrie Crockett, and survived by her other children, Steve Moss (Susie) and Patricia Jones (Will). Proud grandmother of Eric Moss, Rachel Savoie (Mitch), Autumn Blanche (Josh), Nathaniel Crockett (Shauna), Abbygayle Crockett, Jessica Jones, and John Jones, and great-grandmother to Scarlett Crockett.
Chris requested no memorial service; cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Dunnville Branch 142 may be made in her memory.
