Broadway star swings onto Lighthouse stage

PORT DOVER—He has been Spider-Man and songwriter Gerry Goffin on Broadway, bipolar musician Craig Manning on Degrassi: The Next Generation, and many other memorable characters. Now Canadian actor Jake Epstein is tackling his toughest role – himself.

“It’s terrifying,” Epstein said of performing his one-man show, Boy Falls From the Sky: Jake Epstein Live, which comes to Lighthouse Festival Theatre in Port Dover February 22, 2020.

“But once I started, I really enjoyed it,” he continued. “I’ve never felt so connected with an audience before.”

In story and song, Epstein opens up about the highs and lows of show business.

“I truly believed as a kid that I was destined for Broadway,” said Epstein, who began acting at 11, and eventually made it to Broadway. “I just loved it so much.”
