Children’s Aid announces new executive director

HALDIMAND—Children’s Aid Society of Haldimand and Norfolk is pleased to announce the appointment of Shannon Chevrier as Executive Director.

Chevrier began her social work career at Haldimand County CAS in 1991 and has over 28 years of experience in child welfare as Director of Service, Supervisor, and Child Protection Worker. She graduated with her Bachelor of Social Work from Western University and completed her master’s in Social Work at MacMaster. She was awarded the Arrell Award for her master’s thesis, which examined supervision practices in child welfare.
