Construction coming to Hwy. 3 and Hald. Rd. 56

CANFIELD—Drainage work is set to begin June 10, 2019 at the intersection of Hwy. 3 and Haldimand Rd. 56 to install traffic lights.

“This is a long-awaited project for the installation of signalization traffic stoplights at this intersection. I think it’s going to significantly improve the safety of the intersection,” said Councillor Tony Dalimonte. “The residents have been waiting for this for a long time. There’s been numerous accidents there over the years, some unfortunately resulting in death. It’s a much-needed project.”
