CANFIELD — In 1863, East Seneca Church marked its beginnings. The white frame church, which stands at the corner of the crossroads of Concession 1 Road Seneca and Turnbull Road, two kilometres east of Haldimand Highway 56, is celebrating 159 years of faithful service in this community.
Since 1967, an annual service has been held on the second Sunday of June. Due to COVID-19 restrictions in 2020 and 2021, our anniversary services were cancelled.
We are pleased to announce that this year, 2022, we will be holding a Homecoming Open House and Decoration Day to reunite with friends and family and pay tribute to loved ones at the East Seneca Cemetery.
Please join us at ‘The Little White Church’ on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at 610 Concession 1 Road.
Open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Welcome and dedication at 2:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available.
