DUNNVILLE—This year’s annual walk by members of Bethany United Church in support of Cave Springs Camp included a very special surprise. As walkers made their way along Hart Road in Attercliffe Station, an amazing sight came into view – Dave Shirton and two Clydesdales harnessed to a large wagon coming along the road to meet them. Abundant joy! This was a thrill for all walkers from a baby aged 2 months, to children, to adults up to 91 years of age. The walkers were treated to a wagon ride back to Bethany UC, when some disembarked to enjoy warm apple pie and hot drinks while others went for an extended ride along Carter Rd., Phillips Court, and back to the church for refreshments.
