Finley weighs in on budget

OTTAWA—Haldimand Norfolk MP Diane Finley says she believes the new budget announced by the Liberal government is a very expensive cover-up.

“This budget is an attempt to provide a distraction from the SNC Lavalin scandal,” said Finley, “and they (the Liberals) are using Canadian’s own money to provide this distraction.”

The Liberal government released the 2019 budget on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. It is the final budget before the fall election. Finley says that since their election in 2015, Justin Trudeau’s government has not delivered on their promise of a balanced budget.
