To the Editors,
Approximately 50,000 new dwellings were built in Canada last year to fill part of the current need. Our government is “doing everything in its power to alleviate the shortage”. Considering over 500,000 new immigrants came to Canada last year, obviously requiring housing, I wonder what percentage of them wound up in any of those new units? Kind of suggests their solution is far off base when it comes to where they’re pumping their subsidy dollars. Doesn’t appear that their immigrant/housing solution is coordinated in any way, shape, or form.
