Hagersville Lions hold Effective Speaking Contest

HAGERSVILLE—On Tuesday, February 25, 2020 the Hagersville Lions held their annual Effective Speaking Contest for local youth. The Lions are building on the school’s classroom speeches and invite all youth to come to the Lions Effective Speaking Contest to practice and hone their public speaking ability. As we all know, speaking in public to a crowd can be terrifying. By giving young kids the opportunity to write a speech and to present their speech in front of a group of people at a young age, it helps them to become familiar with and accustomed to public speaking.
