To the Editor,
With the tragic loss of two more of our military personnel and a worn-out Chinook helicopter, one should know what I allege is the reason Trudeau is financing the Ukraine with 8 billion Canadian dollars being sent there since 2022 which includes 1 billion in military aid.
One might ask why we are supplying Zelensky’s Ukraine with all this money for a country that gets taxpayers money while our military suffers through with worn out equipment costing service people’s lives, for me the reason is obviously Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland who majored in Russian History and lived in Ukraine for a while where her grandparents immigrated to Canada from.
In her book MY UKRAINE she identifies herself as a “Russophile” but has since been banned from Russia.
In the opening in her book, she states it is “A personal reflection on a nation’s dream of independence and the nightmare Vladimir Putin has visited upon it”.
Yet with her obvious love for the Ukraine her name is never mentioned just her ‘puppet’ and big spender, our own Prime Minister Justin Trudeau handing over the taxpayers’ money.
