The program provides families with digital fingerprints and still photos, video interview, DNA swab, and a data sheet on their children on a USB. The Jarvis Masons have been offering Ch.I.P. for more than 15 years and were the first lodge in Ontario to run the program. Pictured (l-r) Dennis Craddock and Bill Alliston are ready to prepare Ch.I.P. kits for families. Globally, Masons donate over $2 million a day. JARVIS—The Jarvis Lions Park was the place to be August 18 to 20, 2023 for the second annual JarvisFest. New events added to this year’s JarvisFest program included a parade, miniature horse show, and classic car show. Combined with an impressive fireworks show, slo-pitch and disc golf tournaments, a wide variety of music, entertainment, vendors, carnival rides, and crowd pleasing food, there truly was something for everyone to enjoy. The Saturday morning parade featured fire trucks, tractors, politicians, community ambassadors, a kid in a bathtub, and a reminder that Christmas and Light Up is coming. Many youth competitors took part in the show including Kaidence Stadder, 11, dressed as the Cowgirl Princess with her horse Simba for the costume class.
