HAGERSVILLE—Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus 2019, many local businesses have been forced to shut their doors. LifeLabs in Hagersville is one such business, however some local residents are concerned about how the closure might affect necessary services they require.
“I live near Fisherville. I am 71 years of age in very good health, except that I have a medical condition which is controlled by prescription drugs that I have to take every day,” said Colin Isaacs. “This condition was diagnosed almost five years ago and I have been on the prescribed drugs since that time. If I do not take the drugs to control my condition it is likely to be quite quickly fatal.”
In order for Isaacs to renew his prescription, he is required to go to a medical lab for blood and urine tests and then he must visit his family doctor. For years, Isaacs has been going to the LifeLabs in Hagersville.
