Main 88 Pizza Pub steps up to feed essential local businesses

HAGERSVILLE—Paul Bettencourt, owner of Main 88 Pizza Pub in Hagersville, is thanking the workers that have continued to serve the town during the COVID-19 pandemic with free pizza this week.

“I feel the people who stay open at this point to help the general public are the silent heroes,” said Bettencourt. “We would like to do our part in supporting them.”

Bettencourt has made the decision himself to continue operating for the time being, although he is only offering takeout in accordance with current regulations put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19.
