DUNNVILLE—On June 14, 2025 at approximately 12:25 a.m., members of Haldimand OPP responded to a disturbance on Broad Street, Dunnville.
It was determined two individuals became involved in a verbal argument that escalated. One person brandished an edged weapon and was taken into custody. No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old of Dunnville was charged with the following: assault with a weapon; uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm; failure to comply with release order; and being intoxicated in a public place.
The accused will appear in Cayuga court on July 29.
