DUNNVILLE—On Saturday, September 28, 2019 Brooke Martin, Green Party candidate, made a stop in Dunnville to support a small group of protestors calling for action on climate change. Martin said, “I was planning to go to the strike in Toronto and I just last night found out that there was one organized in Dunnville and one in Port Rowan, so I (showed) up to both of those (to) support the local community and raise local awareness.” About 25 people participated in Central Park. Dianne Scott of Dunnville said, “We have to look at everything that is going on to reinvent this so that we can live here.” Shown is local community advocate Rob Lamothe with Scott.
